Věra Jirousová’s Remington typewriter
This typewriter once served as a basic tool for the production of samizdat literature. And as the State Security Service once tried to identify samizdat authors and transcribers by examining typewriter letter types and their unique defects, bibliographers now use the same specific features to distinguish between different samizdat editions of the same work.
