The definition of a documentary film as such refers not just to the factual content but also to the way a documentary is conveyed through emotion, image and sound,
and how it provokes intensive discussion on any topic. The authors of this festival catalogue have clearly managed to do this: the discussion is interspersed throughout the publication with creative and graphic elements, particularly among the dominant red and black colours on most of the pages. The selected typography accompanied
by images and photographs in the form of film slides are enhanced by the lightness and clarity. The fanzine like spirit of the catalogue together with the pleasant format and paper makes it look authentic. So we are the witnesses of high quality and persuasive dialogue.
