The discovery of artificial lighting and the phenomenon of light pollution may seem to be a difficult to grasp theme for a book. Nevertheless, this publication is written in a broadminded and light manner. The contrast of black and silver paper with slightly blurred print in places appears to be an appropriately chosen creative form that fits the topic in question brilliantly. The illustrated poetically tuned abstract scientific terms are complemented by clear and cleanly phrased technical data. The prominent typographic divisions on the silver background and well chosen sans-serif create an agreeable whole.
