Poems set to music by T. R. Field
It is significant that T. R. Field's poems attract musical performers from the periphery of the local cultural scene. They began to receive attention from musicians only when the poet was gradually rediscovered in the post-revolutionary period thanks to new editions of his literary works. The only exception is the song My Home is Quiet, set to music by composer Jiří Eliáš during the writer's lifetime. In his notes, the poet states that the putyka refers to a wine bar which he briefly and unsuccessfully ran under the name Taverna in 1915 on the corner of today's Zborovská and Petřínská streets in Prague's Smíchov district.
