Dear Friend –
I am sending the promised to Kritický měsíčnik (The Critical Monthly). It is the part that will surely be approved for publication. Yes, it is longer, but it cannot be cut up. Please at least leave room; you can set it so that the stanzas run together (if necessary). I also think that the two stanzas will fit side by side on the page…

With each passing day I now eagerly await Góngora from stanza XXIII above. And I shall commence it passionately. Be so kind and send as much as time will permit you. Please send it by mail, for I don’t know if I’m coming on Friday.
