My Dear Friend,
I am sorry that it took so long to respond to you. I heard that you’re locked out of the Academy, so my request would be useless. It’s just that previously Academy members had to recommend the submitted applications.
I was elected to the jury for the annual awards and will vote for Engelbert for the simple reason that I consider his the best novel of the season.
