People’s Conversations

“Jiří Kolář contacted a few people in the Society of Czech Bibliophiles and paid for the publication of three texts that were published as a supplement to their magazine. Kamil Lhoták designed the cover for free and drew the frontispiece. (...) But it only included two short stories: “Setkání” (An Encounter) and “Večerní Praha” (Evening Prague). The third one, “Jarmilka, majitelka hutí” (Jarmilka, the Owner of the Ironworks) did not make it past the censors.” Bohumila Grögerová, Josef Hiršal: Let let (The Flight of Years, 2007)
