The fates of other graduates
Completing the offensive combat course did not guarantee deployment to the homeland. However, of the 20 graduates from the Second Czechoslovak Course, 14 were eventually dropped via STS-25 missions, while the remaining six were assigned to other roles. Rudolf Turšner was selected for the IRON group, whose mission was to eliminate Emanuel Moravec. Due to prolonged delays and internal disagreements, the operation was ultimately cancelled. František Zálešák and Jaromír Sedlák fought at Dunkirk as officers in the Czechoslovak Independent Armored Brigade. The course commander, First Lieutenant Rudolf Drbohlav, was assigned to the intelligence department, where he worked in a study group. Following the 1948 Communist coup in Czechoslovakia, he was dismissed from the army and went into exile. In Germany, he became involved in intelligence work against the communist regime. Josef Tesař and Miroslav Rozprým joined the air force and served with the 138th Special Purpose Squadron, assisting with parachute drops into the Protectorate. Both men were killed in December 1942.
